Ready, Aim and Be Creative!

Nerf guns, they can be creative you know. Some people go to great lengths to customise these toys to look like real thing. Anyway, that’s not what I’m talking about here. My hubby and his mates have a collection of these toys they use for fun on each other. I tried to get involved in a couple of their rounds once, I don’t think it was really my thing. I’m not really the type to dive out literally and try to aim and shoot. If I did, I think all my foam bullets would end up in the wall rather than any actual target. I’ll stick to the arts thank you. Well this one time they asked for me to set up the house with all the guns and spare foam bullet magazine packs spread out so they could play one of those shoot’em-up type games, but for real. Creating Crate-fuls

Crates, I just love crates! They are so useful to put items in, organise with, create a beautiful rustic or coastal décor theme with. Just so practical. I love to research and find out what others are doing with crates. Then on a recent trip to IKEA I found two different sized crates a larger and smaller one. And so, the trolley quickly became stacked with crates of varying sizes. I had PLANS! Once I got home my Husband was happy to help and they got assembled. Although the plan was to have them assembled as a small furniture unit, instead the pieces ended up somewhat stacked into each other, upside down as a roof, pieces inside each other sitting strangely; it ended up looking like a play centre. I asked my Husband about it and he said he was playing with ‘the cat’ and he felt inspired to create something for him.  This cat is unfortunately not well treated, in fact we’re not even sure who his original owners are, but most of his day is spent on our back porch.
