On the go

Hi all,

Thankfully this week has been a bit less chaotic and I hope I can resume my old habits of posting on Tuesday nights. The other night I was thinking if anyone was to ask me, "Why do you post mostly on Tuesday nights" I was thinking how would I respond to that. And I thought. Well. I use to (and still do) love World of Warcraft and shutdown (for maintenance) nights use to be on Tuesday nights, so this way once the servers go down people can unwind by reading my blog =) hehe.

Anyway, hopefully a recurring theme has been happening over the past few weeks and months of my posts, and that theme should hopefully be ... CREATIVITY!

If not.. here is another example of creativity, but this time.. on the go!

My Mummu, Mum and myself went to the shops just the other day and on our way inside we could see ahead there were those ‘centre of the isle salespeople’. This time it was two males, and it appeared to be something orientated for winning a car. Immediately I knew my Mummu and Mum would not be interested, and they would no doubt presume me to fill in the role of gently saying “not interested.”

Well, the young salesman greeted us with a loud (but not overbearing) voice, saying, “For you ladies in blue (yes, it seemed we decided to wear blue today! Funny how that happens, unplanned.) Do I have a deal for you!
I simply responded to the young man saying, “That is a lovely rhyme you have but no thank you.” In turn he thanked for my compliment.

I was thinking how a moment of customer service or brief interaction with a stranger can evoke a moment of creativity. Sure, some people have more of a natural talent and gift for thinking on their feet. But I still feel anyone can do something creative. And perhaps given the field of interest to each individual maybe anyone could creatively think on their feet?

I do often enjoy a sweet rhyme myself, and afterwards I thought shucks, I should have replied to the salesman, “That is a nice rhyme, but we haven’t the time.”

I hope you all have a lovely week ahead and embrace the moments you have! Find something to really include your personality and touch to the moment, that is a way of sharing your creativity with the world.

See you next week!
